{"id":1334,"date":"2006-09-09T15:30:16","date_gmt":"2006-09-09T15:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/the19thfloor.net\/?p=1334"},"modified":"2006-09-09T15:30:16","modified_gmt":"2006-09-09T15:30:16","slug":"in_the_waiting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/the19thfloor.net\/?p=1334","title":{"rendered":"In The Waiting Line"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had the pleasure of seeing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zero7.co.uk\/\">Zero 7<\/a> put on a spectacular show last night at the Fine Line.&nbsp; Zero 7 is best known for the icy-cool vocal stylings of frontwoman Sia, but the band&#8217;s talent doesn&#8217;t end there.&nbsp; They performed some hard-charging instrumental pieces with heavy bass lines that had the crowd jumping.&nbsp; Sia has a charming, playful stage presence and I couldn&#8217;t help but smile as she shimmied and danced in between her magnificent renditions of songs like &#8220;Destiny&#8221; and &#8220;Throwing It All Away&#8221;.&nbsp; Guest musician Jose Gonzales also provided his mellow voice to a few numbers.
