Future Tense has an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publicradio.org\/columns\/futuretense\/2006\/12\/06.shtml#008765\">interview with one of the study&#8217;s directors<\/a>, who bemoaned the lack of training that web developers receive regarding how to create accessible websites. <\/p>\n<p>Care to guess which American website scored highest in terms of accessibility?<a href=\"http:\/\/www.walmart.com\/\"> Wal-Mart<\/a>. Somebody might want to point that out to the executives at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.target.com\/gp\/homepage.html\">Target<\/a>, who are currently defending a lawsuit charging that Target&#8217;s website is inaccessible. The worst offender, according to the study, is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/\">New York Times<\/a>. I&#8217;m not surprised.
