I really don&#8217;t get NASA&#8217;s priorities. The agency seems willing to spend billions on a space station that has never really lived up to its promise of producing solid scientific research, but it won&#8217;t invest in a project with little risk and a huge upside&#8211;namely, preserving the human race.
