Being in Duluth was like stepping through some time vortex that transported me two months into the future. It was cool, overcast, and foggy for most of my visit. I also learned some important things, like the fact that cocktail straws are ideally sized for me to sip from a martini glass. And that maybe I should look for a used Macbook to fill idle moments on these occasional trips. And that I should probably load up some white noise on my iPod to help me fall asleep in strange hotel beds that have mattresses made of granite. <\/p>\n
