I heard the kid say &#8220;Mom, what&#8217;s wrong with him?&#8221; And I thought that was actually a pretty perceptive question. A little self-analysis can be quite healthy so here&#8217;s my attempt to articulate a response to the question &#8220;What is wrong with me?&#8221; <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m a terrible procrastinator.<\/li>\n<li>I own way too many pairs of khaki pants.&nbsp; <\/li>\n<li>I never read any Milton.<\/li>\n<li>I can&#8217;t seem to get through a day without rolling my eyes at someone at least once.&nbsp; <\/li>\n<li>I get annoyed when people use &#8220;impact&#8221; as a <s>noun<\/s> verb.<\/li>\n<li>Have you seen the size of my head? <\/li>\n<li>I use the term &#8220;dude&#8221; with alarming frequency.&nbsp; <\/li>\n<li>When I want to relax, I backup my files. <\/li>\n<li>I can spot the differences between the original and director&#8217;s cut of <i>Blade Runner<\/i>.<\/li>\n<li>I blog stupid lists when I&#8217;m desperate for content. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"zemanta-pixie\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"zemanta-pixie-img\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/img.zemanta.com\/pixy.gif?w=695\" \/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the way home, I passed a little kid and his mother on the sidewalk.
