This blog highlights movies, bands, artists, and other cultural ephemera and explains why hipsters are obsessed with them. As I scanned the posts, a growing sense of recognition (and attendant dread) filled my heart. It&#8217;s as if this blogger had broken into my home and rifled through my DVD collection and iTunes playlist. Does he mention Blade Runner? <a href=\"http:\/\/howtoimpressahipster.blogspot.com\/2008\/12\/blade-runner.html\">Check<\/a>. Danny Boyle? <a href=\"http:\/\/howtoimpressahipster.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/danny-boyle.html\">Check again<\/a>. Portishead? <a href=\"http:\/\/howtoimpressahipster.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/portishead.html\">Big fat check<\/a>.
