If so, you think I can get an invite?  I&#8217;m not really interested in finding a date; I just want to see how the thing works.  I read this <a href=\"http:\/\/arstechnica.com\/archive\/news\/1067400954.html\">little blurb about it on Ars Technica<\/a> and the concept intrigues me.  I&#8217;m always fascinated by the various ways technology shapes our social interactions and behavior.  Just look at phonecams.  They&#8217;ve been around for what, a little over a year?  And already schools and health clubs and other places of business are starting to ban their use.  Is Friendster just a digital form of traditional matchmaking or is it more illustrative of the whole concept of six degrees of separation?
