They&#8217;ve cast <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0915989\/\">Hugo Weaving<\/a> (a.k.a. Agent Smith, a.k.a. Elrond), who can usually be counted on to class up a movie. They&#8217;ve also cast Tom Hanks, which seems like an oddly vanilla choice for a twisty, non-linear movie like this. I&#8217;m still not completely sold that this adaptation is a good idea; the story is complicated and Hollywood studio execs tend to be allergic to complicated.
