Okay, Sofia Coppola just won an Oscar<\/a> and she’s only a couple years older than me. I need to get to work and finish my book. But she absolutely deserves it. Her film was so well-written. It’s another example of me sitting there in the dark theater, shaking my head, wishing I could write something half as good.
\nI think I’m going to try to be a delegate to the Democratic Convention in Boston this summer. You don’t see many people with disabilities at the conventions and I think it’s important that we have some visibility in the political realm. But more importantly, it would be a cool experience to be in Boston and blog from the convention. I’m not exactly sure exactly how the whole delegate selection process works, but I think it starts with our state caucus on Tuesday. I don’t know if there’s some sort of initiation process for potential delegates, like swallowing a goldfish or reciting the party platform from memory.
