A bit short on plot, but it does contain a particularly disturbing scene where the Invisible Man&#8230;well, suffice it to say that such things were probably not contemplated by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bartleby.com\/1003\/\">original author<\/a>.  Alan Moore is a great writer, but one sick bastard.<br \/>\nA Gallup poll shows that Bush holds a small but significant lead over Kerry in my home state of Wisconsin.  I remain confident that the progressives in the state will turn out in droves on Election Day, but I must point out that Wisconsin has a strange political history.  It&#8217;s the state that produced <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk\/USAlafollette.htm\">Robert LaFollette<\/a> as well as Joseph McCarthy, so I guess anything can happen.
