It&#8217;s been overcast around here for a few days and I&#8217;m feeling Vitamin D deficient.  But it can stay cool for another couple weeks, as far as I&#8217;m concerned.  I need to replace the air conditioner in my unit and I&#8217;m not eager to shell out $600.  Ah, the joys of home ownership.<br \/>\nThe <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nba.com\/timberwolves\/\">Timberwolves<\/a> begin their playoff series against the Lakers today.  I&#8217;m not a huge basketball fan, but I&#8217;ll be rooting for them just the same.  One of these days, they have to get out of the first round.<br \/>\nFor the past few weeks, I&#8217;ve been using the new version of my on-screen keyboard called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wivik.com\/\">WiViK<\/a>.  It&#8217;s been long overdue for an upgrade, but it was worth the wait.  The word prediction function is much improved and it&#8217;s definitely made writing faster and easier.  By the way, a little over 5,000 words and counting on my story.<br \/>\nBought the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/B000089RVX\/ref=ts_mh_1_7\/103-1188209-9358220?v=glance&#038;s=music&#038;n=5174\">Evanescence<\/a> album.  I&#8217;m usually not one to give into hype, but the lead singer has a marvelous voice that I can&#8217;t resist.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m starting to forget what the sun looks like.
