I hope that my American readers are enjoying their Thanksgiving holiday. I hope my international readers will forgive us for our strange national obsession with consuming a dry, dead bird. We’re really not such bad people.

just to say, as an aussie, i visit your blog to get more of an insiders view of whats going on in your country, our news seems to miss some vital things (truth, objectivity, personal touch) Also, just to say thats how i found your blog, i was googling news, it was only in retrospect i read your info and was suitably impressed : )
