That’s what happened at a theater in Austin, Texas earlier this week and the subsequent reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. J.J. Abrams, the director of the new Trek, better start getting measured for his pedestal because he’s about to join Joss Whedon in the pantheon of geek gods. And I’m beginning to suspect that this might be one of the rare movies I see more than once on the big screen.
