I felt ambitious last night and completed my story in a three-hour marathon of writing. It clocks in at just under 20,000 words. Probably too long, but I’m not sure what to cut. I need someone to read and critique it for me. In a moment of “why the fuck not,” I e-mailed it to Neil Gaiman’s assistant in an attempt to get him to look at it. I’m not expecting a reply.
The Agonist is a good place to get late updates on the war. I check it a few times a day. I have a sort of weird admiration for these bloggers. It takes a lot of dedication to keep watching the news and poring over news sites. You guys are lucky that I update 2-3 times a week. I could get all haughty and claim that I have a life, but we all know that’s not true.
